Have you ever thought about raising sheep? Are you interested in sustainable hobby farm practices? Is fibre art your bag? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, you may be interested in a fun session at the Warkworth Library on Saturday May 21 from 10:30 to noon. Join Cheryl Casselman and learn about how she goes from sheep to sweaters! Cheryl will be sharing tips on raising sheep, hand shearing, wool preparation, spinning and knitting. She’ll have her spinning wheel on hand to demonstrate and answer your questions about every step along the way! Joining Cheryl will be Grace Clare, who has shown her award winning fleece at the Royal Winter Fair. To attend this event, email Patrick at warkworthlibrary@trenthills.ca Cost is just $5 per person, due at the library by May 14th.
