DESCRIPTION:Mellow Kali Wellness is running this workshop.  To register se
 nd an email to jessi@mellowkali.ca\n\nMental Health First Aid (MHFA) is si
 milar to physical first aid.\nYou will learn how to assist someone who is 
 struggling or in crisis.\nMHFA provides an opportunity to talk about menta
 l health in an open +\nhonest way. MHFA focuses on anxiety\, stress/trauma
 \, substance abuse +\npsychotic disorders. You will learn how to notice wa
 rning signs + provide\nsupport. Participants leave with a sense of confide
 nce in their ability to\nhelp others + care for their own mental health.\n
 Upon completion of the 8 hour MHFA course\, participants are certified by\
 nthe Mental Health Commission of Canada in Mental Health First Aid.\n\nThi
 s course is great for anyone who interacts with other humans + is\nespecia
 lly helpful for promoting employee wellness.\nCourse tuition ranges from $
 180-$250 / person.
