 \nMental Health First Aid (MHFA) is similar to physical first aid.\nYou wi
 ll learn how to assist someone who is struggling or in crisis.\nMHFA provi
 des an opportunity to talk about mental health in an open +\nhonest way. M
 HFA focuses on anxiety\, stress/trauma\, substance abuse +\npsychotic diso
 rders. You will learn how to notice warning signs + provide\nsupport. Part
 icipants leave with a sense of confidence in their ability to\nhelp others
  + care for their own mental health.\nUpon completion of the 8 hour MHFA c
 ourse\, participants are certified by\nthe Mental Health Commission of Can
 ada in Mental Health First Aid.\n\nThis course is great for anyone who int
 eracts with other humans + is\nespecially helpful for promoting employee w
 ellness.\nCourse tuition ranges from $180 per person.
