With story on her mind, Nora Camps digs in and paints, expressively, with her hands. Camps began her career in commercial design, coming from a background in fine arts. Today she is a Marketing Communications Strategist, Storyteller, and Fine Artist – intertwined in experience and output.
This show is inspired by her new book, “Special Glasses, Open Your Mind and Share What’s There”. Specifically, art making and the human condition. Camps expressionistic work include themes of meditation, the natural world and reaching for potential. This exhibition is both experimental, essential, and highly suggestive. Her paintings and photographs are held in private collection across Canada and she has been showing her work since 2003. Nora Camps new book will be available at the Ah! Centre.
