DESCRIPTION:Stag knives have a character all their own - rugged\, yet refin
 ed. This weekend course is an intensive first step in forging superior sti
 ck-tang blades for hunting or general outdoor use.\nMoving on from Bladesm
 ith I\, you will learn:\n\n\n 	\nPrinciples of clip-point forging\n\n 	\nH
 ow to work with bone and antler handles\n\n 	\nForging unbreakable tangs\n
 \n 	\nFitting brass guards and pommels\n\n 	\nAdvanced steel and brass pol
 ishing\n\n 	\nMetallurgy. heat-treating\, steel selection\, sharpening and
  more.\n\n\nWorking independently under close instruction\, you will learn
  through experience as you complete your own heirloom blade.\nAll tools\, 
 materials and safety equipment are included. Students should wear sturdy f
 ootwear and cotton or wool clothing. No Synthetics!\n Forging or knifemaki
 ng experience is helpful but not required.\nClass runs 9am-5pm\, Saturday-
