 \nKatherine Helmer's artwork\, which spans several decades has been featur
 ed in collections across Canada\, the United States and Great Britain. Her
  landscape pieces are known for their sensitive observations of nature\, w
 hile her finely crafted still lifes\, portraits and paintings reflect a de
 eply personal expression of her life as a mother\, wife and artist.\n\nWhi
 le Terence Helmer is best known as an accomplished violinist &amp\; educat
 or\, and founding member of the Orford String Quartet\, one of Canada's le
 ading chamber music ensembles\, his paintings are lyrical abstractions ins
 pired by the natural world\, combining rich textures\, subtle colour harmo
 nies\, and gestural mark-making to create evocative\, landscape-like compo
 sitions.\n\nAdmission is free.\n
